MEMORY VERSE #36

Greetings in the Lord!! Hi precious ones!!

"WHAT DOES THE LORD REQUIRE OF YOU? TO ACT JUSTLY AND TO LOVE MERCY AND TO WALK HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD"...MICAH 6:8

After you read this true story by Shaun McHardy, I will share with you a site where you can learn ways to help.

"Week after week, I look at people in my church congregation. Many are "regulars", but some are new people. People come with Bibles in hand joyously singing and praising God. After church we have tea and a chat. Then everyone leaves. Most I will see next Sunday. A few will be involved in various church activities such as small groups, but most will not see one another until next Sunday. As I think of our religious freedom and the way we don't take advantage of it, I compare our situation to that of our brothers and sisters in other countries who are persecuted for being Christian. Can we imagine how lonely they must feel? People are still being jailed and victimized for loving our Lord and Savior, for reading the Bible, for going to church. We who are free to serve God openly can use our time more productively. We are free to use our resources to help others who don't know God and don't go to church. We can help those far away by praying and contributing to provide Bibles for them. What other ways can you think of to use the time and freedom God has given us"?

Here is a site to go to: prisoneralert.com On this site you have an opportunity to choose from many different ways to help our sisters/brothers in Christ who are being held prisoners my precious ones. God bless!!! I love ya!!! your sis, nana, mommy, mamma, mami in Christ, pastor
