1. HOW WOULD YOU ANSWER THIS QUESTION? TO ME THE BIBLE IS:
very interesting. definitely the best thing i've ever read
2. WHAT IS YOUR VERY FAVORITE STORY FROM THE BIBLE? WHY?
I'd say the story of Adam and Eve in the garden. It reminds me that there are always consequences for our actions.
3. WOULD YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE:
a. The Bible is a book of rules. yes. its also of book of history as well
b. The Bible contains contradictions. yes it does. well at least APPARENT contradictions. however i find that they're quite easily explained.
c. Any translation of the Bible is acceptable. No. I disagree. Only the King James/New King James are acceptable translations imo. the NIV and other modern versions have been changed and somewhat corrupted. however, any Bible is better than no Bible.
d. Church tradition is as important as the Bible. disagree. Christianity is no about traditions. its only about a relationship with Jesus Christ.
e. The Bible has answers to everyone's problems. Agree. It most certainly does
f. The main theme of the Bible is Jesus Christ. Agree
g. I find the Bible hard to believe. Disagree. although some parts are not literal, but symbolic. For instance , the book of Revelation contains much symbolism.
